I have served as a City Councillor for more than 26 years and am still serving. During that time, I have served in various positions of responsibilities including Lord Mayor of City and Chaired various Committees and Scrutiny Boards. Currently I am Deputy Cabinet Member City Services.

I am Corporate & Charities Reporting Manager for a local firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers; I have over 20 years of experience in accountancy, audit and financial reporting.

Both of my children have attended Whitmore Park Primary School and I am now serving a second term as Governor. I am a parent governor and Chair of the Finance Committee.

“The last 12-18 months have been a time of significant change for the school with the outcome of the 2013 Ofsted inspection and the build of the new school. The members of the Governing Body have had to work long hours alongside their existing jobs to ensure that the school delivers the best for its children. There is still a lot of work ahead of us but it is very rewarding to see the benefits for the children of the changes implemented and hard work of the staff. I am looking forward to the involvement with the Federated Governing Body and seeing our school come out special measures and working towards becoming an outstanding school.”
